About The Position

As a Lowe's cashier, you help ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, professional checkout experience and helping customers get value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. This role involves answering customer questions and helping with payments and exchanges in a fast-paced environment. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds unassisted or more than 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
