About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers have a positive experience by providing a quick, friendly checkout and helping them get the best value. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves answering customer questions and assisting with payments and exchanges in a fast-paced environment. Regular travel is not required, although occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in the state.
