Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in a related field; paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of personal injury law.
  • Experience gathering and organizing medical records, insurance claims, police reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work.
  • Fluency in Spanish.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a law office or similar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with legal case management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters while ensuring deadlines and case milestones are met.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates, answering questions, and delivering compassionate support throughout their case.
  • Request, organize, and track medical records, billing statements, police reports, insurance documents, and other essential case materials.
  • Coordinate client medical treatment and monitor treatment progress to maximize case development.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic case files in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys to assist with case evaluation, settlement demands, negotiations, and overall case strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures, firm policies, and documentation standards.
  • Perform additional case support and administrative duties as needed to help move cases efficiently toward resolution.
