About the position

The job overview for this role is that the Business Development Representative (BDR) at Cloudflare will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find solutions and delivering a stellar customer experience. The BDR will develop their sales skills and become knowledgeable about Cloudflare's products and services. They will be responsible for supporting Account Executives and identifying opportunities, leveraging various tools and platforms. This role offers a great opportunity for career growth within Cloudflare and is ideal for individuals interested in a career path towards BDR management, Mid-Market Account Executive, Expansion Account Manager, or Customer Success Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for customers that need help finding solutions
  • Develop customer centric sales skills to deliver a stellar customer experience
  • Learn Cloudflare's products and services in detail
  • Be the "face of Cloudflare" and account resource for prospects and customers
  • Support Account Executives' book of business and open doors to identify opportunities
  • Have a basic understanding of Cloudflare's suite of products to provide recommendations and solutions to customers
  • Leverage tools such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, internal applications, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo to map customers to the right product suite
  • Own and meet target quota for number of qualified opportunities
  • Identify target accounts with strategic timing and strong use cases through qualitative and data-driven approach
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders (account executives, marketing, sales operations, fellow BDRs)
  • Help lead BDR team-wide campaigns or initiatives
  • Write compelling emails and letters, make compelling calls
  • Report, track, and manage sales activities and results using SFDC
  • Play an active role in the creation and iteration of team processes
  • Experience in Google Sheets, Outreach, SFDC reporting, and data analysis is a plus
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with empathy and curiosity
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written), Tagalog is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BDR or similar capacity in technology industry preferred, specifically in SaaS will be a plus
