About the position

The job overview for this role is to play a critical role in territory planning and support mid-market account executives in building a closable pipeline. The main goals are to generate qualified pipeline and bring in revenue through outbound activities such as cold calling and executing OB campaigns. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development/sales, be able to learn and talk about Cloudflare portfolios, and have a track record of exceeding quota. They should also possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry and exceed Opportunity quota
  • Sense upcoming objections/difficulties in territory and alert manager
  • Hold regular and effective 1:1s with stakeholders
  • Execute OB Campaigns through cold calling and outreach
  • Generate pipeline and influence revenue from new logos
  • Continued learning and development
  • Meet weekly forecast and maintain quarterly pacing
  • Work closely with sales reps and marketing teams to drive MQL SLAs
  • Minimum 2 years of business development/sales experience
  • Ability to learn and talk Cloudflare portfolios
  • Track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience with prospecting and email outreach
  • Salesforce and systems knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and requests
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Show initiative in improving existing processes and methods
