About The Position

Texas One Insurance is hiring a full-time General Lines Insurance Agent for an onsite role. The agent works directly with clients to understand their insurance needs, recommend personalized coverage, and build lasting customer relationships. The position involves quoting, selling, and servicing personal and commercial policies, as well as supporting new and existing customers throughout the insurance process. Compensation is $42,600 to $92,000 per year, based on experience and performance, with opportunities for additional commission and performance bonuses.

Requirements

Active General Lines Property & Casualty License.
Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with computers and agency management systems.

Nice To Haves

Previous insurance sales or customer service experience is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Quote, sell, and service personal and commercial insurance policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
Clearly and accurately explain policy features, coverages, and endorsements.
Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Follow up on leads and generate new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with Texas insurance regulations.
