About the position
The Benefits and Talent Systems Consultant is responsible for implementing HRIS systems based on client specifications and providing excellent customer service and guidance. They will partner with top tier clients to deliver benefit and talent implementation services, consult with clients on their specific needs, gather data, and support internal and external customers. The ideal candidate should have computer proficiency, project and team management skills, strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of benefit administration and HRIS implementation.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks for HCM benefit and talent implementations
- Coordinate and manage weekly client meetings
- Consult with clients regarding their specific needs for benefit and talent systems
- Partner internally with customer teams as needed
- Gather data based on client specifications in order to successfully implement systems
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers
- Computer proficiency and experience with HRIS and benefits systems
- Project and team management/leadership skills and experience
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Effective planning and priority setting
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of benefit administration
- Previous experience in implementation of HRIS
- Understanding of talent acquisition and talent management processes
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, wor

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Five to seven years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience
- Preferred professional designations: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
