About the position
As a UKG/Kronos Consultant, you will be responsible for working closely with clients to gather business requirements and design/configure solutions within the application. Your role will involve interpreting client needs, providing a roadmap for project implementation, and ensuring ongoing functionality. You will also be responsible for providing subject matter expertise, troubleshooting application-level problems, and executing detailed documentation. Additionally, you will lead projects, communicate with project management, and continuously enhance your skill set through educational classes and seminars.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise, leadership, and recommendations to clients regarding application problems and solutions
- Hold accountability with clients and manage their expectations, ensuring they align with the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Guide clients through detailed discovery sessions surrounding Kronos application capabilities to identify and document client requirements, customizations, and impact evaluations
- Analyze client needs and design and develop solutions based on requirements and discussions
- Configure the application and workflows alongside the client and per their specifications
- Execute Unit and Integration testing before delivering developed solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-level problems
- Execute detailed and thorough documentation
- Lead projects and weekly progress meetings with assigned clients
- Communicate with and update project management regarding client work status/tasks, challenges, and assistance needed
- Consistently participate in ongoing educational classes and seminars to improve and enhance skill set
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience implementing Kronos Workforce Central (v6.0 & up), Workforce Dimensions, or ADP eTIME solutions
- Kronos customization, configuration, and implementation experience in three or more of the following modules: Timekeeper, Advanced Scheduler, Attendance, Leave, Activities, Accruals, Attestation, Analytics, Workforce Device Manager, Forecasting, Mobile/Tablet, and/or Record Manager
- Thorough understanding of implementation life cycle components, including: Ability to identify problems, gather requirements, conduct analysis, and provide accurate solutions
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision as well as multitask between different projects and clients
- Experience working in complex business environments and on high-pressure, fast-paced projects in a collaborative manner
Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Bonus technical skills/background:
- Knowledge of SQL relational database management systems
- Experience in designing, developing/scripting, and testing interfaces in Workforce Integration Manager (WIM)
- Experience upgrading Kronos/ADP eTIME database
- Kronos Advanced Scheduler for Retail or Healthcare customization, configuration, and implementation experience
- Custom report development skills
- International exposure on a WFM implementation
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS configuration and solution concepts such as Payroll, Benefits, Entitlements, Compensation, Leave Management, etc.
