About The Position

OpenArt is hiring a B2B Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own how its business audiences are nurtured, converted, and grown. The role develops lifecycle programs for Business Plan customers, professionals using OpenArt for work on consumer plans, active trials, and enterprise leads generated through webinars, events, and content. The manager determines which audiences to reach, with what messages, through which channels, and at what moments, while coordinating when to stop communications. The manager will orchestrate journeys across email, in-app messages, and website touchpoints using OpenArt's existing content engine, including webinars, industry events, thought leadership, and customer stories. Programs are intended to drive self-serve Business Plan upgrades or surface high-potential accounts to sales at the appropriate time. This hands-on role covers finding opportunities in data, designing journeys, writing or adapting copy, building and QAing campaigns, and demonstrating impact. The role works closely with RevOps on signals, scoring, routing, and sales handoffs; product and growth teams on in-app channels; product marketing on messaging; and the consumer lifecycle team on shared infrastructure, deliverability standards, and suppression rules. The position is full-time and hybrid in San Carlos, California, and collaborates closely with Enterprise GTM, RevOps, product, and growth teams. Annual base salary is $155,000–$215,000, plus bonus and equity.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing.
  • Hands-on B2B or B2C2B marketing experience, including nurturing business buyers or converting professional users within a consumer base to team and business plans.
  • Experience with both self-serve and sales-assisted lifecycle programs.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with a lifecycle platform such as Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or HubSpot, including building event-triggered journeys, segments, and personalized campaigns.
  • Experience building triggers using data inputs that were not yet native to the lifecycle platform.
  • A measurable record of building programs and reporting their conversion, engagement, or pipeline results.
  • Experience running email and at least one other owned channel, such as in-app, push, or on-site.
  • Strong business-voice copywriting and editing skills, with sound judgment on deliverability, consent, QA, and message frequency.
  • Fluency in cohorts, A/B tests, holdouts, and campaign and product analytics, including separating incremental impact from noise.
  • Ability to work closely with RevOps, product, data, and marketing teams and maintain clear interfaces.
  • Comfort working with incomplete data, a fast-changing product, and no established playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Map and maintain segmentation for business audiences, including Business Plan customers, business users in the consumer base, active trials, and enterprise leads.
  • Partner with RevOps and data teams on audience signals and scoring that determine journey entry.
  • Design and launch signal-triggered journeys, including upgrade programs, team-to-Business migration, credit-exhaustion and usage-milestone triggers, Business Plan onboarding, and win-back.
  • Orchestrate campaigns across email, in-app messages, and website touchpoints such as pop-ups and banners.
  • Build an always-on nurture program from webinars, events, thought leadership, and customer stories, with content mapped to funnel stage.
  • Coordinate with content and product marketing teams, managing audience selection, timing, channel, and performance.
  • Define and operate sales handoffs, including thresholds and signals for moving accounts from automated nurture to sellers, alongside RevOps-built routing and response SLAs.
  • Coordinate suppression with consumer lifecycle to prevent conflicting or duplicate messages to business audiences.
  • Build and QA campaigns, including segmentation logic, personalization, frequency caps, consent, and deliverability.
  • Measure self-serve Business Plan conversions and attributed revenue, qualified-account progression to sales, and incremental impact through A/B tests and holdouts; iterate based on results.
