About The Position

OpenArt is hiring a B2B Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own how business audiences are nurtured, converted, and grown. The role builds lifecycle programs for Business Plan customers, professionals using OpenArt for work on consumer plans, active trials, and enterprise leads generated through webinars, events, and content. The manager designs audience segmentation and journeys that drive self-serve Business Plan upgrades or surface high-potential accounts to sales. This hands-on role orchestrates journeys across email, in-app messages, and website touchpoints, using OpenArt's existing content engine of webinars, industry events, thought leadership, and customer stories. The manager works closely with RevOps on signals, scoring, routing, and sales handoffs; product and growth teams on in-app channels; product marketing on messaging; and the consumer lifecycle team on shared infrastructure, deliverability, and suppression rules. The manager identifies opportunities in data, designs journeys, writes or adapts copy, builds and QA's campaigns, and measures their impact on revenue. The position is full-time and hybrid in San Carlos, California, with an annual base salary of $155,000–$215,000, plus bonus and equity.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing.
  • Hands-on B2B or B2C2B experience nurturing business buyers or converting professional users within a consumer base to team and business plans.
  • Experience with both self-serve and sales-assisted lifecycle programs, including converting users without sales involvement and preparing high-potential accounts for sales.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with a lifecycle platform such as Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or HubSpot.
  • Personal experience building event-triggered journeys, segments, and personalized campaigns, including triggers whose data inputs were not native to the platform.
  • A measurable record of programs built and the conversion, engagement, or pipeline results they produced.
  • Experience running email and at least one other owned channel, such as in-app, push, or on-site.
  • Strong business-voice copywriting and editing skills, with sound judgment regarding deliverability, consent, QA, and message frequency.
  • Fluency in cohorts, A/B testing, holdouts, and campaign and product analytics, including the ability to distinguish incremental impact from noise.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with RevOps, product, data, and marketing teams and maintain clear working interfaces.
  • Comfort working with incomplete data, a fast-changing product, and limited established processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain segmentation for Business Plan customers, business users within the consumer base, active trials, and enterprise leads from events, webinars, and content.
  • Partner with RevOps and data teams to define the signals and scoring that determine journey eligibility.
  • Design and launch signal-triggered journeys, including upgrade campaigns, team-to-Business migration, credit-exhaustion and usage-milestone triggers, Business Plan onboarding, and win-back programs.
  • Orchestrate campaigns across email, in-app messages, and website touchpoints, selecting channels based on the moment and audience.
  • Build always-on nurture programs from webinar, event, thought-leadership, and customer-story content, mapped to funnel stage.
  • Coordinate with content and product marketing teams, owning audience selection, timing, channel, and performance while they own message content.
  • Define and operate the handoff thresholds and signals for moving accounts from automated nurture to sales, working with RevOps on routing and response SLAs.
  • Coordinate suppression rules with consumer lifecycle to prevent conflicting or duplicate messages to business audiences.
  • Personally build and QA campaigns, including segmentation logic, personalization, frequency caps, consent, and deliverability.
  • Measure self-serve Business Plan conversions and attributed revenue, qualified-account progression to sales, and incremental impact through A/B tests and holdouts; iterate based on results.
