About the position

The Associate Account Manager is responsible for managing the French market for Amazon Music. They will handle client relationships, deliverables, account strategy, and execution. The ideal candidate should be fluent in French and English and be able to work in a start-up environment within a larger international firm. The role requires strong client service and communication skills, the ability to develop effective account strategies, execute affiliate recruitment and optimization strategies, provide regular reporting and analysis, and identify new publisher development opportunities. Success in this role involves executing day-to-day operations, forming strong client relationships, managing challenging situations, and achieving high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a regular point of contact for clients' strategic and account questions
  • Lead weekly client calls
  • Send account reporting and manage resulting follow-up questions and communications
  • Manage challenging client situations with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Provide superior client service and develop excellent client relationships
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and retention rates
  • Develop effective strategies and tactical plans for achieving client goals
  • Proactively offer new and innovative ideas to the overall program strategy
  • Execute effective affiliate recruitment, activation, and optimization strategies
  • Perform general account management and monitor for fraud and affiliate compliance
  • Provide clients with regular reporting and analyze data to find opportunities and identify issues
  • Develop strategic program plans and present resulting data-driven insights and recommendations to clients
  • Find and act on relevant publisher development opportunities
  • Think outside of the box to present new and interesting opportunities to clients
  • Execute the day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs
  • Form strong relationships with key client contacts
  • Manage challenging client situations with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Analyze client data and use it strategically in optimization, activation, and recruitment campaigns
  • Maximize account efficiency and develop excellent strategic plans and communication
  • Provide superior results for clients and unsurpassed customer service
  • Engage in work and keep clients engaged as well
  • Solve problems independently and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Possess superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Meet deadlines and commitments
  • Collaborate with team members in a remote environment

  • Have 3-5 years of online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience
  • Have direct affiliate marketing experience
  • Have knowledge of Affiliate Networks
  • Be fluent in French and English
  • Have advanced Excel capabilities and knowledge of HTML (a plus)
  • Have previous experience managing and motivating direct reports (a plus)

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English
  • 3-5 years of online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience required
  • Direct affiliate marketing experience (in-house, agency, network) required
  • Knowledge of Affiliate Networks (Awin, Affilinet, CJ, Webgains, Linkshare, Impact Radius, Performance Horizon, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports, etc.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, a plus
  • Previous experience managing and motivating direct reports, a plus
