About the position

The Associate Account Manager is a remote position that requires fluency in French. This role involves managing the French market for Amazon Music, including client relationship management, account strategy, and execution of client deliverables. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, proactive, and able to handle changing priorities. Strong communication skills in both French and English are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for client service, account strategy, execution, reporting and analysis, and identifying new opportunities for publisher development. The Associate Account Manager should be able to work independently and demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems. A minimum of 3-5 years of online marketing or affiliate marketing experience is required, along with knowledge of affiliate networks and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a regular point of contact for clients' strategic and account questions
  • Lead weekly client calls and send account reporting
  • Manage challenging client situations with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Develop and nurture excellent client relationships
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and retention rates
  • Oversee successful client programs and develop effective strategies
  • Execute effective affiliate recruitment, activation, and optimization strategies
  • Provide clients with regular reporting and analyze data for opportunities and issues
  • Develop strategic program plans and present data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Find and act on relevant publisher development opportunities
  • Execute day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs
  • Form strong relationships with key client contacts
  • Analyze client data and use it strategically in optimization, activation, and recruitment campaigns
  • Maximize account efficiency and implement strategic plans
  • Provide superior results for clients and unsurpassed customer service
  • Possess mature judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Have attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Display accountability and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members in a remote environment
  • Have confidence, poise, and eloquence in client meetings and difficult situations

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English
  • 3-5 years of online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience required
  • Direct affiliate marketing experience (in-house, agency, network) required
  • Knowledge of Affiliate Networks (Awin, Affilinet, CJ, Webgains, Linkshare, Impact Radius, Performance Horizon, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports, etc.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, a plus
  • Previous experience managing and motivating direct reports, a plus
