About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. It may suit a licensed stylist who wants to grow into management or take on more responsibility while continuing to work behind the chair. Management experience is not always necessary; interest in leadership and supporting others is important.

Assistant Salon Managers receive management and operations training through Great Clips University (GCU), along with ongoing support and instruction from salon management. The role offers an opportunity to motivate and support a team of stylists, develop leadership skills, and potentially progress to Salon Manager or other leadership positions. All Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills.
