About The Position

The Food Services Department in Slingerlands, New York, is hiring a full-time, 40-hour-per-week Assistant Food Services Manager. This hourly, non-exempt role pays $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus longevity. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends may be required to support catering needs at the Krumkill Café.

The Assistant Manager helps prepare menu items for daily use, provides superior customer service, and assists the Food Service Manager with all aspects of Food Services Department operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and frequently move or transport items weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience preferred.
