Assistant Food Services Manager
About The Position
The Food Services Department in Slingerlands, NY is hiring a full-time, 40-hour Assistant Manager Food Services. This hourly, non-exempt position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on catering needs of the Krumkill Café. Pay is $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus longevity. The Assistant Manager Food Services assists with preparing menu items for daily use, provides superior customer service, and supports the Food Service Manager with all aspects of Food Services Department operations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license meeting WWAARC insurability standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and frequently move or transport items weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

- Previous food service experience preferred.
