About The Position

The Accounts Receivable professional manages and optimizes cash flow by ensuring timely customer payments. The role maintains accurate receivables records, reconciles accounts, resolves discrepancies, and collaborates with sales, customer service, and finance teams to support smooth billing and prompt resolution of payment issues. Effective invoicing and collections help minimize outstanding debts, sustain customer relationships, and safeguard company revenue.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role; manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of manufacturing industry billing practices and terminology.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send accurate customer invoices promptly according to agreed terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments to support timely collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing or payment discrepancies and disputes.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to address billing inquiries and improve collection processes.
• Maintain organized records of accounts receivable transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
• Assist with accounts receivable month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations related to receivables.
