About The Position
Maloney Properties is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support its portfolio of affordable housing in Greater Boston. The position works a hybrid schedule, with three days on-site in Allston, Massachusetts, and occasional travel to other sites in Greater Boston. Work hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role focuses on rent collections and accounts receivable operations, accurate tenant and subsidy charges, strong collections performance, compliance with Massachusetts regulations, and effective use of Yardi to support financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete all aspects of rent collections and accounts receivable operations.
- Manage delinquencies.
- Conduct legal follow-up.
- Complete monthly closing of reports across the portfolio.
- Ensure tenant and subsidy charges are accurate.
- Support strong collections performance and compliance with Massachusetts regulations.
- Use Yardi effectively to support financial operations.
- Travel occasionally to other sites in Greater Boston.
