About The Position

KMW is hiring an experienced accounting processor to support its growing equipment manufacturing company in Sterling, Kansas. The role handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales invoicing and cash application, and review of production labor hours. The position is full-time and first shift, with an hourly salary range of $19.24–$25.32, commensurate with experience. A drug screen and Physical Capacity Profile test are required; safety and attendance are priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least two years of accounts payable, invoicing, or general accounting experience is stated in the job details.
• The qualifications section specifies 1–3 years of accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, or general accounting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with vendors, management, and other clients.
• Ability to process large amounts of information effectively.
• Ability to work on several tasks concurrently.
• High level of computer knowledge and use of Excel.
• Ability to work independently and comfortably in a team environment.
• Basic accounting and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and Physical Capacity Profile test.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, or general accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate account codes and process payable invoices.
• Assist in resolving accounts payable-related issues.
• Process vendor payments.
• Provide backup for sales invoicing and cash applications.
• Provide backup for reviewing production labor hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
