About The Position

The Accounts Payable Analyst accurately inputs and codes bills for a food manufacturing company using NetSuite and interacts with Bill.com. This full-cycle Accounts Payable role includes vendor interactions, ensuring bills are processed accurately and on time, and reconciling vendor statements. The analyst serves as a contact for internal and external communications and works with teams across the business as well as vendors and customers.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• 3 years of General Ledger Accounting experience.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Nice To Haves

• ERP experience; NetSuite experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the LLF Accounts Payable processes.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for Accounts Payable.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, Growing, Operations, Maintenance, and Human Resources, as well as external vendors and customers.
• Process AIA Pay apps.
• Manage vendor certificates of insurance, including summarization and audit.
• Provide tax-exempt forms and credit references for new vendors.
• Work with multiple subsidiaries and domestic and foreign currencies.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and respond to vendor inquiries to support successful, profitable relationships.
• Understand and work with NetSuite, Bill.com, and banking transactions.
• Suggest continuous improvement processes.
• Prepare information for 1099 processing.
• Perform other duties as needed.
