About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a growing team focused on expanding its accounts payable operations in Tampa. The role is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The position is based in a professional office environment and is initially fully onsite for training. After training, the schedule transitions to four days onsite and one day remote. Standard hours are 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. This is a contract-to-hire position based in Tampa, Florida.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Over two years of full-cycle accounts payable experience with mid- to large-sized corporations.
Proficiency in accounts payable reporting and analytics.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
Solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
Experience with SAP or another large software system such as Oracle or PeopleSoft.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including three-way matching, purchase orders, and goods receipt.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of invoices using a three-way match system and analyze them for discrepancies or errors.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team, take responsibility for reporting, and provide backup for processing tasks.
Assist vendors with invoicing inquiries and resolve discrepancies or errors.
Set up new vendors in the system as required.
Analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies efficiently.
