About the position
Acronis is seeking an Account Manager to drive renewal for customer maintenance contracts in the DACH region and identify add-on sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to articulate product features and close sales. This role offers career paths to Inside Sales Representative, Partner Account Manager, or Key Account Manager based on performance. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the renewal of customer maintenance contracts in DACH region
- Provide quotes directly to customers and/or their assigned channel partners
- Upsell customers and identify opportunities for add-on sales of Acronis products
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
- Build rapport with customers and partners, provide technical information and explanations, and prepare quotations
- Handle customer and partner inquiries related to quotes, pricing, co-terming, up-selling, and reinstatement of maintenance contracts
- Interact and collaborate with customers and Acronis partners
- Identify and pursue maintenance reinstatement opportunities
- Assist in negotiation of maintenance agreements
- Work closely with distributor, Acronis Sales manager, and Sales Engineers to ensure sales closure
- Fluent in German verbal and written and English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to articulate product's different features and answer customer questions
- Strong closing sales skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
- Able to meet daily call targets and KPI targets
- Punctual, reliable, and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, upbeat, organized, and highly persistent in follow-ups
- Flexible, team player, open to changes in responsibilities and strategy
- Previous experience as an Account Manager desired
- Experience in B2B sales desired
- Previous experience in the IT industry desired
