About the position
The job overview for this position is that Adyen is seeking an Account Manager to support their growth in India. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with merchants across various industries and channels, both within and outside of India. They will serve as a payment expert, providing expertise, education, leadership, and guidance to merchants on their global payments strategy. Additionally, the Account Manager will collaborate with internal and customer-facing teams on projects and gather feedback from merchants to communicate to product and management personnel.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key people at merchant companies
- Use relationships to enhance the merchant experience
- Become a payment expert for merchants and provide guidance on global payments strategy
- Gather merchant feedback and communicate it to product and management teams
- Collaborate with Adyen personnel on internal and customer-facing projects
- Work with global, multicultural team
- Manage complex projects
- Work in uncertain and ambiguous situations
- Engage in fast-paced discussions with customers to drive positive outcomes
- Have 5+ years of experience in account management, consulting, or a related field
- Fluent in English
