The job overview for the Compliance Monitoring Officer position is that the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the planning and execution of the annual compliance monitoring program. Responsibilities
- Contribute in the planning and execution of the annual compliance monitoring program
- Drive the development of monitoring methodology relating to first line business processes
- Contribute in the execution of second-line quality assurance testing procedures in line with the compliance monitoring program
- Contribute in the creation, planning, and execution of new quality assurance programs
- Pro-actively drive the development of efficient and data based monitoring solutions
- Collaborate with the compliance team on the further development of the compliance program
- Advise the business on enhancement of compliance procedures as required
Requirements
- 3-6 years experience in a role within a second line compliance function and/or internal/external audit function
- Well-established knowledge of the finance and/or payment industry
- Ability to draft and monitor the implementation of relevant Policies
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work as a business partner and connect with a wide range of teams
- Ability to provide pragmatic advice and guidance
- Ability to contribute in the planning and execution of compliance monitoring programs
- Ability to drive the development of monitoring methodology
- Ability to contribute in the execution of quality assurance testing procedures
- Ability to contribute in the creation, planning, and execution of new quality assurance programs
- Proactive mindset in driving the development of efficient and data-based monitoring solutions
- Collaboration skills with the compliance team for the further development of the compliance program
- Ability to advise the business on enhancement of compliance procedures as required
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to liaise and connect with internal and external stakeholders.
