About the position
As a New Business Manager at DEPT®, you will be responsible for leading new business processes and offering tailored solutions in Digital Marketing / Campaigning to help brands stay ahead. Your role will involve cross- and upselling, pitching, and signing new clients. You will also be responsible for networking, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and utilizing your client service experience to build solid relationships. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in a new business role with a focus on digital marketing, excellent communication and persuasion skills, and the ability to work on pitches and tenders. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead new business qualification and tailor the approach to convert leads to new business
- Kickstart pitch processes by gathering and delivering written input and facilitating the commercial side of pitch processes
- Spot cross- and upsell opportunities with existing clients in consultation with the Client Service Team
- Build and maintain a network by attending relevant market events
- Stay up-to-date with the latest news and trends in the Digital Marketing / Campaign market
- Utilize client service experience to establish solid relationships with potential clients and partners
- Connect the right people to answer new business requests in the best qualitative way
- Work closely with different business specialists and the VP of growth
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment
- Receive personal coaching, a development plan, and budget for growth
- Work with prestigious clients such as Philips, Just Eat Takeaway, Netflix, and Bol.com
- Have knowledge of running Digital Marketing / Campaign projects
- Level with decision-makers like brand directors or marketing managers
- Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Have experience working on pitches and tenders
- Take a proactive approach and demonstrate leadership skills
- Be ambitious, commercial, results-oriented, and organized
- Be fluent in both Dutch and English

Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of experience in a new business role with a focus on digital marketing / campaigns, preferably at a creative digital agency
- Knowledge of what it takes to run Digital Marketing / Campaign projects (e.g. Growth Marketing, Influencers, Brand Strategy, Creative Concepting)
- Ability to level with decision-makers like brand directors or marketing managers
- Great communication skills (verbally and written) and the ability to persuade
- Experience working on pitches and tenders
- Proactive and able to take the lead
- Ambitious, commercial, results-oriented, and know how to plan and organize
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
