About the position
The Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business by working with a set of large target accounts for the Digital Natives Team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to engage with decision makers within network operations, development, and technical infrastructure teams. They will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy/plan for assigned vertical or accounts, as well as driving large account sales into the Hong Kong market to achieve revenue targets. Additional responsibilities include managing contract negotiations, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy/plan for assigned vertical or accounts
- Drive large account sales into the Hong Kong market to achieve revenue targets

- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Possess a major account sales background in technology solutions, primarily software-based, that enables them to drive engagement with senior-level decision-makers within Cloudflare’s target customers
- Have a strong network of contacts with decision-makers in enterprise accounts across the region, and have experience selling complex solutions to these accounts
- Create and deliver compelling value propositions to large accounts for Cloudflare solutions
- Drive new business by working a set of large target accounts for the Digital Natives Team
- Possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement from junior through executive levels within network operations, development and technical infrastructure teams
- Have industry experience selling into Finance, Retail, Manufacturing and other Enterprise verticals along with Service Provider
- Have relevant direct experience, track record, and relationships within largest corporate enterprise accounts in the Hong Kong market
- Have prior experience being part of an early sales team helping drive traction in the Hong Kong market for a US-based SaaS company highly preferred
- Have experience managing complex sales cycles
- Have a basic understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”
- Have an aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
- Be self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
- Strong in prospecting

- Min 3 years of direct B2B selling experience, preferably managing internet accounts
- Direct experience selling network security and/or CDN solutions and services preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Relevant direct experience, track record, and relationships within largest corporate enterprise accounts in the Hong Kong market
- Prior experience being part of an early sales team helping drive traction in the Hong Kong market for a US-based SaaS company highly preferred
- Experience managing complex sales cycles
- Basic understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
