Account Executive, Department of Homeland Security

Chainalysis is seeking an Account Executive for their public sector sales team. The team's mission is to make the world a safer place by working with law enforcement and civilian agencies to disrupt criminal operations, reduce illicit activity, recover funds, and investigate cases involving cryptocurrencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for exceeding sales quotas, developing product positioning and messaging, building trust and transparency with customers, executing go-to-market plans, and creating a diverse pipeline of opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in the US Federal Government sector, and will have a strong background in leading the entire sales process. The salary range for this position is $137,000 - $167,000.

• Drive sales for public sector customers in the blockchain industry
• Collaborate with law enforcement and civilian agencies to disrupt criminal operations and reduce illicit activity
• Recover funds for victims and investigate cases involving cryptocurrencies
• Develop and maintain trustworthy relationships with government customers and prospects
• Navigate complex procurement processes
• Exceed quota and increase market presence in the US Homeland Security space
• Develop product positioning and messaging tailored to agencies' missions and competitive drivers
• Build trust and transparency with customers, resulting in network referrals and brand awareness
• Create and execute go-to-market plans for predictable and increasing quarterly forecasts
• Build a diverse pipeline of opportunities for consistent and accurate forecasting
• Provide expert advice to prospects on technical concepts, product roadmaps, solutions implementations, and training
• Have B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in the US Federal Government sector
• Lead the entire sales process from discovery calls to contract negotiation to deal closure
• Collaborate with resellers and distributors to expand market reach
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide expert advice and support to prospects
• Salary range: $137,000 - $167,000 (base salary)

• B2B SaaS sales focused on customers and prospects in the US Federal Government, specific federal civilian sales experience preferred (investigations, proprietary data, or cybersecurity preferred)
