About the position
The job overview for this role is that Flock Safety is seeking an Account Executive to join their community safety sales team. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating demand, building partnerships, and driving full cycle sales in a specific market, primarily focusing on homeowners associations (HOA) but also including private businesses. The role requires outbound sales experience, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to become a subject matter expert on Flock's technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, meeting sales quotas, and fostering strong relationships with local HOAs and businesses. This is a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to client onboarding
- Build a pipeline of leads across multiple verticals
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Foster strong relationships with local homeowners associations (HOAs) and businesses within the territory
- Have 2+ years of outbound full cycle sales or lead generation experience, with an emphasis on software sales
- Have a self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn and produce results
- Utilize outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory
- Become familiar with software and various hardware devices to become the subject matter expert for clients
- Possess strong presentation and demonstration skills, both in person and virtually
- Enjoy solving customer's problems with a consultative sales approach
- Thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment
- Have startup experience (a plus)

- Receive a starting salary of $60,000-$65,000 with an OTE of $130,000 uncapped, as well as stock options

Requirements
- 2+ years of outbound full cycle sales or lead generation experience, with an emphasis on software sales
- Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory
- Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory
- Comfortable becoming familiar with software and various hardware devices, in order to become the subject matter expert for your clients
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills, both in person and virtually
- Energized by solving customer's problems- e.g. consultative sales approach
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment
- Startup experience is a plus
