About the position

Senior Designers know how to serve as design advocates on our client projects. They concept and contribute to internal initiatives, strengthening our design practice and thought leadership.
The Senior Designer should have a working knowledge of standard digital creative and production processes. They should also be able to translate ideas into multiple formats and feel empowered to bring ideas to the table that go beyond what is being asked. 
This is a 3-month contract opportunity to start with the potential for full-time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in handling complex, quick-turn Creative projects
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign is a must), Google Workspace, MS Office Suite, Keynote, and Figma
  • Experience in Asana, Slack, and other cloud-based project management tools
  • Strong use of typography across various a number of different mediums
  • Previous experience in creating and designing sales and marketing collateral for B2B clients
  • Familiarity with the creative agency process
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with (or working knowledge) of animation software is a plus
  • Experience with (or working knowledge) of WordPress and HTML is a plus
  • Travel on-site to the office if local to Austin (1 day a week)

Responsibilities

  • Create our design deliverables, helping to produce assets that span between branding, marketing, website, and events
  • Conceptualize, critique, execute, and validate projects across a broad range of work
  • Participate in weekly status meetings with our virtual team to keep projects in scope and on time
  • Communicate project statuses to Project Managers
  • Attend client meetings and reviews, document next steps, and interpret changes to creative
  • Ability to constructively take direction and feedback
  • Communicate straightforwardly with clients and peers
