About The Position
This is a non-tenure-track, temporary position for an individual qualified for appointment at the rank of visiting assistant professor or who has held that rank at another institution. Teaching responsibilities are assigned by the dean of academic affairs and may include serving as an academic advisor. Depending on the individual’s interests and the school’s needs, the role may also include an administrative assignment, such as directing a certificate program.
Requirements
- Possess the qualifications for appointment at the rank of visiting assistant professor, or have held that rank at another institution.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses or undertake other teaching responsibilities assigned by the dean of academic affairs.
- May serve as an academic advisor.
- May take on an administrative role, such as directing a certificate program, as interests and school needs arise.
