About The Position

Requirements

• Graduation from an OAVT-accredited college program.
• Passed or in the process of writing the VTNE.
• OAVT membership in good standing.
• Collaborative clinical approach and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to patient care, customer service, respect, and accountability.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage duties and document evaluations for animals with critical conditions, including shock, acute illness, trauma, and toxicity.
• Execute advanced procedures like thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, and epidurals.
• Provide nursing care to in-house and out-patients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy.
• Assist in full-scope surgery services from prep to post-op recovery.
