About The Position

This is a full-time, evening shift position (2:30 PM - 1:00 AM) with rotating weekends, but not major holidays. The role includes a $2.50/hr additional shift differential. Qualified candidates will have previous supervisory or leadership experience and experience working in emergency veterinary medicine. Responsibilities

• Participate in the hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation process for all ECC Service Staff.
• Create work schedules, prepare payroll, and process personnel records for Inpatient Service Staff.
• Must have a working knowledge of complex diseases to provide nursing care and develop and train members of the ECC team.
• Assist clinicians in triaging, stabilizing, and providing high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Offer instruction and demonstration to veterinary students, interns, residents, and other technicians.
