About The Position

Friendship Hospital for Animals, a leading AAHA-accredited hospital located in Washington D.C., is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic veterinary technicians to join our Emergency and ICU teams. In this fast-paced role, you’ll work closely with ER/ECC doctors, fellow technicians, and assistants to provide high-quality, emergent care. Ideal candidates are confident in triage, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, history taking, and anesthesia monitoring, and are committed to teamwork, multitasking, and continuous skill development. Requirements

• 1-2 years experience working as a veterinary technician required
• Credentialed veterinary technician preferred
• Embrace a nurturing, cooperative, and ethical environment

Nice To Haves

• Recover certification a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, emergent care
