About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum one year of professional driving experience preferred
• Able to read, write legibly
• Speak in English with professional quality
• Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
• Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
• Collaborate and accept direction
• Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
• Think critically
• Manage multiple assignments effectively
• Organize and prioritize workload

• Valid Driver's License required at time of hire
• Class B driver's license with passenger's endorsement required

Nice To Haves

• Drivers operating vehicles to and from airport facilities are preferred to have a Chauffeurs endorsement

Responsibilities

• safe and efficient transportation of staff, faculty, visitor's patients and patient-related items throughout the University, Medical Center and surrounding facilities as instructed
• comply with all State and Federal Traffic Laws at all times, as well as with the organizations regulations
• operate the vehicles assigned in a safe and courteous manner at all times
• maintain a current and valid commercial driver's license issued by the State of California
• Performs other duties as needed
