About The Position
Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Trailer Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Chino, CA. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting mechanical issues and keeping fleet vehicles running reliably, offering an opportunity to grow a career with a stable national company.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in performing repairs on class 7 - 8 trailers
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
- Valid driver’s license
- Must own and maintain personal tools and a toolbox necessary to perform job duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Document repairs and complete work orders
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Work with supervisors and team members to keep fleets operational
