This position is for a Forensic Medicolegal Death investigator for the Medical Examiner's section. Forensic Investigator responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing cases submitted to the Medical Examiner Section, presenting cases to the medical examiners, speaking with investigative agencies, requesting records, investigating deaths, and ensuring appropriate intake and release of decedent. Investigators are also responsible for transporting decedents to Medical Examiner's Office for examination. This position may require working weekends. The Forensic Technician plays a critical role in supporting forensic investigations by collecting, processing, and analyzing evidence under the guidance of forensic scientists, forensic pathologists, and law enforcement personnel. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate handling and documentation of evidence.
