About The Position

Requirements

• Experience working with and leading cross-discipline technical teams.
• Experience with NASA systems engineering processes.
• Experience with NASA spaceflight hardware projects.
• Experience with system and subsystem integration for large spacecraft.
• Experience defining requirements and their verification and validation (V&V).
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with the NASA team and industry partners.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Committed to successful collaboration with the NASA team and industry partners.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM-related major from an accredited program, with at least 20 years of relevant experience; or a Master of Science degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience; or a Ph.D. with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency.
• Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with NASA.
• Experience defining large spacecraft architectures.
• Experience working with program or project managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical collaboration between relevant NASA Centers and PPE industry partners.
• Ensure system requirements are accurately and thoroughly defined.
• Coordinate subsystem- and system-level test planning for requirement closure criteria.
• Serve as the technical lead for PPE Requirements.
• Support other technical leads and teams for PPE systems engineering, integration, and verification (SE&I).
