About The Position

The 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW), in partnership with Leidos, is seeking a highly experienced Targeting Analyst/Instructor to support advanced targeting training and certification programs at Joint Base Langley–Eustis. This role directly supports Air Combat Command (ACC) and its mission to train, certify, and equip the Air Force’s targeting enterprise. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Air Force Point Positioning Program (AFP4), Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) Training and Certification Program, and other mission-critical targeting training pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience (additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight while delivering high-quality, mission-critical outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge-management issues across organizational and Intelligence Community boundaries.
  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies, with awareness of emerging tradecraft developments in academia or related fields.
  • Ability to define comprehensive, innovative research approaches that support rigorous assessments and contribute to high-level analytic tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior USAF experience or familiarity with Air Force command-and-control structures.
  • Working knowledge of the organizational interfaces among military, federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting program requirements and operate effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of the ACC Intelligence Initial Qualification Course (IIQC) and additional training activities as directed by the Senior Intelligence Officer, Lead IIQC Instructor, or A2 staff.
  • Deliver instruction, develop course materials, maintain curriculum, and support all related training functions.
  • Integrate systems and tools training throughout all targeting and geospatial curriculum delivery.
  • Produce targeting and geospatial products in support of AFP4 requirements, including Precise Point Mensuration (PPM) training and competency assessments for U.S. and allied personnel.
  • Acquire source data and create tailored targeting and geospatial products in accordance with customer standards and mission needs.
  • Modify AFP4 training and assessment materials for release to allied partners, including development of releasable, country-specific datasets.
  • Conduct Initial Qualification Training (IQT) and Mission Qualification Training (MQT) for U.S. and partner-nation personnel.
  • Administer PPM competency assessments in accordance with AFP4 standards and certification requirements.
