About The Position
RiverKids Pediatric Home Health is actively seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to provide in-home pediatric therapy services in various locations. We serve Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Amarillo and all surrounding areas. We offer flexible scheduling, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while delivering high-quality care. At RiverKids, therapists have the opportunity to build their own schedules without restrictions or limitations.
Requirements
- Active Texas SLP license
- CPR Certificate
- Reliable transportation
- Auto Insurance
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and families
Nice To Haves
- ASHA CCCs preferred (or CFY welcome)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Home health experience a plus
- Bilingual (preferred not required)
- Spanish (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in a home health setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Implement evidence-based speech and language interventions
- Educate families and caregivers on therapy strategies and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary therapy teams
