About The Position
An excellent healthcare facility near Converse, Texas, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join its team! This is a full-time, permanent, Direct-Hire position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 5x8. The facility offers a comprehensive full benefits package that includes Health, Dental, and Vision.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- Must have previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Must have or be willing to obtain an SLP License
Responsibilities
- Evaluate a patient's speech, language, voice, and swallowing skills to identify and diagnose disorders
- Guide patients through exercises to improve speech clarity, voice quality, and language skills, as well as to strengthen muscles for swallowing
- Select and instruct patients on the use of alternative communication systems when needed
