About The Position
The Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.
Requirements
- Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
- BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines.
- Reporting preliminary findings for physician interpretation.
- Functioning within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.
