About The Position
BetterHelp is a leading online therapy platform that allows mental health professionals to focus on client care without the burden of administrative tasks or overhead. We provide the platform and support, while therapists offer their expertise. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from home with a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- 3+ years of mental health counseling experience
- Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and can provide therapy without supervision.
- A private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
- Excellent written communication.
- Must have professional liability insurance.
- Reliable Internet connection.
- Currently residing in the US.
Nice To Haves
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist / PsyD
- Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor with a passion for helping adults, couples, or teens.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy to adults, couples, or teens.
- Conduct therapy sessions in a private and professional environment.
- Manage client care without administrative or overhead burdens.
- Build and sustain a strong caseload, with 70% of clients using insurance.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions.
- Connect with a community of over 30,000 therapists.
