Service Advisor

About The Position
The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with customers, maintaining customer repair schedules, and processing paperwork. This role involves generating estimates, approvals, and invoice data accurately and consistently. The Service Advisor reports directly to the General Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Industry specific Service Writer/Advisor experience
- Extensive knowledge of medium and heavy-duty truck repair and parts
- Ability to communicate equally well with customers, Technicians and leadership
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient computer skills for iTrack data entry, use of vendor-based web applications and MS Office Outlook
- Ability to stand, sit and walk within the shop and office
- Ability to climb in and out of customer vehicles
- Ability safety lift 20 pounds
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain customer repair schedule.
- Process / Paperwork Execution
- Generate Estimates, Approvals and Invoice data accurately and consistently.
