Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior customer service, sales, account management, or related experience
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Ability to listen to customers, identify their needs, and clearly communicate service recommendations
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive dealership or service department experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and build strong relationships throughout the service experience
- Listen to each customer's concerns and accurately identify their vehicle service and maintenance needs
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department
- Clearly explain recommended maintenance, repairs, pricing, and expected completion times
- Prepare accurate repair orders and provide clear, transparent estimates
- Maintain consistent communication and follow up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Work closely with technicians and other service team members to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
- Review additional maintenance or repair recommendations with customers and answer questions
- Address customer concerns professionally and work toward timely, positive resolutions
- Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
- Ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from arrival through vehicle pickup
