This is a TELE position, requiring TELE skills. Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving an offer, through RELIAS, with a maximum of 2 attempts. There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on the first day of orientation. Nurses will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele. Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips, as there are no monitor techs in the ED. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients versus medical patients. Additional questions may be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration, but they will not be asked to be the primary RN for ED patient assignment.
