About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in West Point, NE. This role is in a Long Term Care facility and is for an 8-13 week contract, with an evening shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in Long Term Care or Long Term Acute Care and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience working with Long Term Care or Long Term Acute Care facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of LTC or Nursing Home nursing practices and protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients when necessary.
- State license.
- BLS Copy
- Covid Fully Vaccinated
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Long Term Care facility.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and document observations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
