About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated RN for an Assisted Living facility in Albany, MN. This is an 8-13 week contract position with an evening shift. The role requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and knowledge of LTC or Nursing Home nursing practices. Strong communication, organizational skills, and compassion are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with an Assisted Living facility.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge of LTC or Nursing Home nursing practices and protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients when necessary.
State license.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to residents in an assisted living setting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor resident health and report changes to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
