About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager for its Emergency Department leadership team. This role is crucial for shaping strategic initiatives, developing passionate teams, and improving health outcomes, embodying excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose. The manager will combine clinical experience with contemporary leadership practices to achieve excellent outcomes, focusing on quality and safety, care affordability, patient experiences, and team member experiences. Responsibilities include providing strategic vision and operational planning for the assigned unit, leading interprofessional teams to foster excellence, and advancing nursing practice through evidence-based methods and professional standards. The position is fully onsite at Fishers Hospital, primarily Monday-Friday day shift, with required availability for evenings and weekends. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
  • If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN)
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
  • Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred

  • Provide oversight of unit that is operational and staffed 24 x 7, weekends, and holidays
