About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in various specialties, including General Surgery, Trauma, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT, and Vascular Surgery. Our facility is a 492-bed hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU, located in Montgomery, AL.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Strong experience in designated specialties is essential.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- 30-minute response time required for on-call duties.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple specialties, with a primary focus on Trauma (excluding burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, and Orthopedic Surgery.
- Circulate surgeries in the OR, with a strong background in Trauma and Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (including Endovascular), ENT, Orthopedic Spine and Joint Surgery, Gynecological Surgery, Urology, Robotics for General and Neuro surgery (including experience with Robotic Mazor and Da Vinci XI), and Plastic Surgery, Ocular Surgery.
- Work collaboratively with the OR team, including desk assistants and team leaders for service lines.
- Participate in a 2-week orientation period on day shift, with a buddy call expectation.
- Adhere to on-call duties with a 30-minute response time.
- Work holidays as per contract.
