About The Position
An opportunity is available for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgery team. The position involves providing comprehensive patient care across all surgical phases, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or multistate RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Proof of vaccination series or positive titer for Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella
- Physician's written proof of immunity for Varicella is acceptable
- Proof of Tdap vaccination within the past 10 years
- Proof of an annual flu vaccine (only required from October 1st to April 1st); no exemptions for contracted employees
- Copy of COVID-19 vaccine documentation, if applicable
- Two TB skin tests, or one Quantiferon Gold, or one chest X-ray within the past 12 months
Nice To Haves
- preferred experience with conscious sedation technique
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care pre-operatively, inter-operatively, and post-operatively.
- Administer conscious sedation (preferred experience with this technique).
