About The Position
The unit is composed of a 300 unit with 14 beds and a main unit featuring 44 beds. The division allows for a diverse patient population, focusing on: Surgical Orthopedic Medical Cardiac care in the main unit. Registered Nurses will provide care to a variety of patients, including but not limited to: Post-catheterization, Post-pacemaker, Post-PCI, Day 1 TAVR, Day 1 CABG, Patients with sepsis, and Respiratory distress cases. Staff may be required to float between the 300 unit and the main unit. A 6-hour floor-specific orientation will be provided upon hiring. This is an opportunity for dedicated healthcare professionals looking to provide high-quality patient care within an acute care setting.
Requirements
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification

- BSN is not required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to a variety of patients, including but not limited to: Post-catheterization, Post-pacemaker, Post-PCI, Day 1 TAVR, Day 1 CABG, Patients with sepsis, and Respiratory distress cases.
- Read telemetry strips.
- Manage various drips, including: Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, Fixed rate insulin, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine (only for renal dosing).
